The Wells Fargo Business Debit Card makes it easy and convenient to manage your cash flow and business spending.
How it works
- Use your business debit card to make business purchases and payments. The transaction amount will be debited from your primary linked business checking account. Business debit cards must be linked to at least one eligible business checking account.
- Quickly make business deposits or get cash at approximately 11,000 Wells Fargo ATMs.
- Add your business debit card to a digital wallet so you can pay on the go – or tap your phone near the Contactless Symbol on any Wells Fargo ATM for fast ATM banking. Learn more about digital wallets.
- Get cash on the go with your business debit card from non-Wells Fargo ATMs that display the Visa® or Plus® logo. If you have a Wells Fargo Business ATM Card, look for ATMs with the Plus logo.

- Zero Liability protection. Your Wells Fargo Business Debit Card comes with Zero Liability protection at no extra cost. You will be reimbursed for unauthorized card transactions when reported promptly.
- Contactless cards with chip technology. Wells Fargo offers business debit cards with contactless technology, which includes a chip. The contactless feature provides a speedy and secure purchase and checkout experience. With the contactless feature, you can tap your business debit card near the Contactless Symbol displayed on a merchant terminal or Wells Fargo ATM to quickly complete your transaction. The contactless card also can be used by inserting or swiping it in the terminal. When you tap to use your contactless card, the transaction is processed using the chip's advanced encryption and safeguards to help protect your contactless transaction. Look for the Contactless Symbol so you can tap to make purchases at contactless-enabled merchant terminals, transit turnstiles, and to access Wells Fargo ATMs. Learn more about contactless cards.
- Chip technology. Wells Fargo Debit Cards include chip technology on the front of the card, plus the traditional magnetic stripe on the back. The chip provides added security because it is extremely difficult to counterfeit or copy when inserted into a chip-enabled terminal or ATM, and does not store any personal information. If a merchant or ATM has not yet adopted chip technology, your transaction will be processed using the magnetic stripe.
- Debit card alerts. Stay informed of your card activity by enrolling in Wells Fargo Business Online®, and setting up debit card alerts to help track your purchases and ATM withdrawals.
- 24/7 Fraud monitoring. We regularly review your accounts for unusual activity. If you receive an alert from us for potential suspicious card activity, review and respond promptly to verify the transactions. You do not need to sign up to receive this alert.
