Google Pay is accepted in stores, in app, and online. In stores, look for the Google Pay logo or Contactless Symbol at checkout.

How to add your cards to Google Pay
How do I add my eligible Wells Fargo cards to Google Pay?
There are two ways to add your Wells Fargo cards to Google Pay, through the Wells Fargo Mobile® app or directly through Google Pay. To learn how to add your eligible Wells Fargo cards directly through Google Pay, see the Google Pay instructions.
How to add your cards through the Wells Fargo Mobile app (AndroidTM)
- In your Wells Fargo Mobile app, tap Menu in the bottom bar, select Card Settings, then tap Digital Wallet.
- All eligible digital wallets will display. Tap Google PayTM.
- All eligible cards will display. Tap the Add to G Pay button next to the card you would like to add. Follow any additional instructions to verify and activate your card. Your card is now ready for use with Google Pay.
Which Wells Fargo cards can I add to Google Pay?
You can add most Visa® and Mastercard® branded Wells Fargo Debit and Credit Cards to Google Pay.
How do I set my Wells Fargo card as my default card in Google PayTM?
The first card you add to Google Pay will be the default card for in-store payments. To make your Wells Fargo card your default card, simply tap the Wells Fargo card you prefer to make default and turn on Default for in-store purchases. You can also easily switch between cards whenever you make a purchase.
Can I add multiple Wells Fargo cards to Google Pay?
Yes, you can add multiple cards to Google Pay. Devices do not share cards, so if you want to use the same card on two different devices, you will need to add the card on each device separately.

Is Google Pay safe and secure for making payments? How does Wells Fargo help protect me against fraud?
The safety and security of your account information is a top priority.
When you pay with Google Pay and your Wells Fargo card:
- Your actual card number is replaced with a unique digital card number, which means businesses do not see or store your full card number.
- All Wells Fargo transactions are monitored by our 24/7 risk and fraud detection systems.
- Purchases made with your Wells Fargo card are protected by Zero Liability protection, so you won't be held responsible for promptly reported unauthorized transactions, subject to certain conditions.
Why am I being asked to verify my Wells Fargo card?
For security reasons, we may need you to provide additional verification to add your Wells Fargo card to Google Pay. If necessary, the Google Pay app will tell you how to verify your card.
What if I find unauthorized charges on the card I use with Google Pay?
Your Wells Fargo Debit and Credit Cards automatically come with the built-in security of Wells Fargo’s fraud monitoring and Zero Liability protection. If your card or its number is ever lost or stolen, subject to certain conditions, you won't be held responsible for unauthorized transactions when you report them promptly.
- To dispute a debit card transaction on a personal account, call 1-800-TO-WELLS (1-800-869-3557).
- To dispute a credit card transaction on a personal account, call 1-800-642-4720.
- To dispute a transaction on a business card
- Business Elite credit cards, call 1-800-231-5511

What if my Wells Fargo Card is lost or stolen?
Please call Wells Fargo immediately and mention that you added your card to Google Pay. We will close your card so that no more purchases can be made. If you are in possession of your device (your device is not also lost or stolen), we may be able to update Google Pay with your new card information so that you can continue using Google Pay while you wait for your new card to arrive.

What if my device is lost or stolen?
If your Android device is ever lost or stolen, you can find, lock, or erase it. Click here for more information.
We also recommend notifying your mobile carrier and calling the Wells Fargo number on the back of your card promptly. Mention that you added your card to Google Pay so we can disable your card for use with Google Pay.
If you locate your device, you will need to add your card back to Google Pay before making any Google Pay purchases.

Does Wells Fargo charge anything to use Google Pay?
No. Wells Fargo does not charge a fee for customers to use Google Pay.
