Helpful tips for using the Locator

Use our ATM and Branch Locator tool to find a location near you. Or, on a Wells Fargo ATM select More Choices > ATM Services & Settings > View/Print Nearby ATMs.
  • Make sure the words you entered are spelled correctly.
  • You can search by entering an address, landmark, intersection, ZIP code or city and state.
  • Spell out any address abbreviations (Road instead of Rd, for instance).
  • Consider using the “Narrow your search” filter to find locations with specific features that interest you. Be careful, using too many filters may severely limit your results.

You can also find a location by calling us at 1-800-TO-WELLS (1-800-869-3557).

  • Keep pressing the Tab key until you are on the last checkpoint on the map. Press the Tab key once more and you will have keyboard control of the map.
  • To shift the map to the left, right, up, or down, use the arrow keys on your keyboard.
  • To zoom in, use the "+" key on your keyboard.
  • To zoom out, use the "-" key on your keyboard.
  • Click on your state
  • In pop-up menu, choose from the list of popular cities or search for your city alphabetically
  • Click on your city to find results

Wells Fargo branches will be closed on the following holidays:

  • Presidents' Day
  • Memorial Day
  • Juneteenth
  • Independence Day
  • Labor Day
  • Indigenous Peoples' Day/Columbus Day
  • Veterans Day
  • Thanksgiving Day
  • Christmas Day

It's always a good idea to check the hours of your specific branch as some locations may have reduced hours around the holidays (for example: Christmas Eve).

To do this, use the ATM & Branch Locator tool to search for a branch near you. After locating the branch, select the "Services and Information" link to find the holiday hours for that specific location.

International location information

Wells Fargo does not operate ATMs or branches outside of the United States. However, you can use your Wells Fargo Debit or ATM Card to check balances and withdraw cash at non-Wells Fargo ATMs that display the Plus® logo.*

*Fees may apply while using your Wells Fargo card outside of the U.S. and its territories. The non-Wells Fargo ATM operator or network may charge you a fee. Their fee is included in the total amount withdrawn from your account and will apply to your card’s daily ATM withdrawal limit. We may reimburse that fee, in whole or in part, if allowed by the terms of your Account. Please refer to your applicable Wells Fargo account agreements and terms and conditions for fee information.

ATM Banking

You can get cash, transfer funds, check your balance, make deposits and more at most Wells Fargo ATMs.

While most Wells Fargo ATMs offer additional features and services, some Wells Fargo ATMs are limited to cash withdrawals, balance inquiries, and fund transfers between accounts linked to your card as primary checking and primary savings. The features and services offered at a particular Wells Fargo ATM will be displayed on the ATM screen.

  • You can use a digital wallet  instead of your physical Wells Fargo Debit Card to access a Wells Fargo ATM.
  • First, you need to add your Wells Fargo Debit Card to a Wells Fargo-supported digital wallet. (See Digital Wallet Basics page for instructions on how to add your card to a digital wallet.) 

To use your digital wallet at a Wells Fargo ATM that displays the Contactless Symbol:

  • Access your phone’s digital wallet (with a PIN, fingerprint  or iris/face scan ).
  • Hold your phone near the Contactless Symbol on the ATM.
  • Enter your card’s PIN into the ATM when prompted, and then select and complete an ATM transaction.
  • You can use a contactless debit card to access any Wells Fargo ATM.
  • Tap your contactless debit card near the Contactless Symbol on the ATM.
  • Then enter you card's PIN into the ATM when prompted. Select the transaction you wish to perform.

There is a physical limitation on the number of items you can deposit at Wells Fargo ATMs. The limit varies by ATM and will be shown on the screen when items are inserted. There are limits on the total dollar amount of checks that can be deposited at Wells Fargo ATMs per transaction. We may decline deposits that exceed $1 million.
Cash deposits are available for use immediately. Check deposits made on weekdays by 9 p.m. local time (8 p.m. in Alaska) are considered received on the same day. If made after 9 p.m. local time (8 p.m. in Alaska), on a bank holiday or weekend, the check deposit will be considered received the next business day.
No. Insert cash and checks directly into the ATM. ATM screen instructions will guide you through the deposit process. Note: Please make sure the checks are face up with the account number line on the right.
Yes. You can see each check and the amount on-screen for instant verification. For cash deposits, you’ll see a count of each denomination you deposit.

There is a daily maximum limit on the dollar amount of the purchases you can make with your debit or ATM card. Your card also has a maximum limit  on the dollar amount of cash withdrawals you can make. Your purchases and ATM withdrawals also are subject to the available balance  in your account. We provide you your daily ATM withdrawal and purchase limits when you receive your Card. You can confirm or manage your card's daily limits by signing on to Wells Fargo Online or the Wells Fargo Mobile® app, or calling the number on the back of your card.
To request an increase or decrease your card’s daily dollar limits, contact us at the phone number on the back of your card, or talk to a banker at a Wells Fargo branch.
Most Wells Fargo ATMs offer $20s, $50s, and $100s.  Some Wells Fargo ATMs may offer additional denominations such as $1s and $5s.  Wells Fargo ATMs also offer denomination choice, allowing you to select your preferred denominations.

You can link your debit or ATM card to up to 22 accounts:

  • 5 Checking
  • 5 Savings
  • 5 Money Market Accounts
  • 5 Credit Cards
  • 2 Lines of Credit (Home equity lines only. Exception: Any Home Equity Line of Credit secured by property in New York or Texas are prohibited for linkage by state law).

To see your linked accounts:

  1. Sign on  to Wells Fargo Online ® .
  2. Click on the Card Details link for your card.
  3. Find which accounts are linked to your card.

You can make a Wells Fargo Credit Card payment at most Wells Fargo ATMs using your Wells Fargo Debit Card.

You can make a Home Equity Line of Credit (HELOC) payment only if the HELOC is linked to your Wells Fargo Debit Card.

If you know the PIN for the credit card from which you want to complete a cash advance, you can perform the cash advance at any Wells Fargo ATM. Note: Credit card cash advance fees will apply. Refer to your Credit Card Agreement for more information.
If you know your current card PIN, you can quickly change it at most Wells Fargo ATMs. Select More Choices > ATM Services & Settings > Change PIN.

Digital wallets may not be available on all devices. Your mobile carrier's message and data rates may apply.

Digital wallet access is available at Wells Fargo ATMs and participating non-Wells Fargo ATMs for Wells Fargo Debit Cards in digital wallets. Message and data rates may apply. Some ATMs within secure locations may require a physical card for entry.

Certain devices are eligible to enable fingerprint sign-on. If you store multiple fingerprints on your device, including those of additional persons, those persons will also be able to access your Wells Fargo Mobile® app via fingerprint when fingerprint is enabled. Your mobile carrier's message and data rates may apply.

Only select devices are eligible to enable sign-on with facial recognition. If you have an identical twin, we recommend that you use username and password instead of facial recognition to sign on. Your mobile carrier’s message and data rates may apply.

Your card’s daily ATM withdrawal limit is the maximum amount of cash you can withdraw each day from any combination of accessible accounts using your card, less any fees charged by the non-Wells Fargo ATM operator or third party, if applicable.

Available balance is the most current record we have about the funds that are available for your use or withdrawal. It includes all deposits and withdrawals that have been posted to your account, then adjusts for any holds on recent deposits and any pending transactions that are known to the Bank. This balance may not reflect all of your transactions, such as checks you have written or debit card transactions that have been approved but not yet submitted for payment by the merchant.
