Software
Clover Compact works with the Payments software plan. After you get your device, choose this plan when you activate your account from the Clover Dashboard. From there, you can access the virtual terminal, invoicing, demos, and more.

Business-to-consumer (B2C) transaction fees
B2C merchants include restaurants, retailers, health practitioners, and any business focused on selling to consumers. Transaction fees are based on monthly processing volume:

Per tap, dip, or swipe: 2.60% + $0.15
Per online or keyed in: 3.40% + $0.15
$15,000 - $39,999.99
Per tap, dip, or swipe: 2.40% + $0.15
Per online or keyed in: 3.20% + $0.15

Per tap, dip, or swipe: 2.20% + $0.15
Per online or keyed in: 3.10% + $0.15
Business-to-business (B2B) transaction fees
B2B merchants like distributors, medical and dental suppliers, industrial suppliers, and any business focused on selling to other businesses. Transaction fees are based on monthly processing volume:

Per online or keyed-in transaction
When customers are on the phone or on your website, a transaction is completed by keying in the card number in the device or online through an e-commerce gateway.
Per tap, dip, swipe transaction
When customers are at your location, they pay by swiping a card, dipping or inserting a chip card, or tapping or waving a contactless card or phone above the device. This includes PIN debit transactions.
Total monthly processing
Monthly processing volume is the total dollar amount of the credit and debit card transactions you process in all of your merchant locations in a month including Visa, Mastercard, Discover, and American Express. Monthly processing volume includes PIN debit transactions.
Interchange Plus
Interchange Plus passes card issuer interchange fees, card network switch fees, and network fees directly to the customer (also known as a "merchant").
Pricing has two components:
1. Interchange: A fee charged and set by card networks, like Visa and Mastercard, to process transactions.
2. Plus: Wells Fargo's fee per transaction in addition to the interchange fee. This may come in the form of a percentage fee, a transaction cost, or both.

Monthly service fee includes:
Risk and fraud monitoring, reporting and analytics, 24/7 support, dispute management, and Clover's entry-level Payments software that allows you to take payments through a web browser, mobile app, or your Clover device. Monthly fees are assessed per MID (merchant ID). If you choose to add other equipment or options, additional fees may apply.
Clover software plans may vary based on the Clover solution selected by the merchant, and Clover will bill the merchant directly. Clover accounts can only have one software plan for all devices on the account. Additional hardware or accessories may require additional fees. Clover software, applications, and other third-party applications that may be available through Clover or the Clover App Market are subject to the terms and conditions of the developer and may include additional fees. All fees are subject to change. Existing merchants can refer to the Clover Dashboard for their current software plan and the latest Clover pricing.
Clover solutions are made available through Wells Fargo Merchant Services, L.L.C. (WFMS). WFMS and Wells Fargo Bank, N.A. do not provide, and are not responsible for, third-party software or applications, including those offered by Clover.
To use LTE, you must enable Clover Cellular Data by opting in each Clover device with the LTE feature. Cellular Data comes at an additional monthly cost billed by Clover per opted in device. You can opt into or deactivate Cellular Data access at any time in the Clover Dashboard or by using the Setup app on the device.
There is no early termination fee or long-term commitment for card processing services. There may be early termination fees for existing equipment leases. First Data Merchant Services LLC (FDMS) owns and manages existing lease operations for Wells Fargo Merchant Services.
If you accept payments using equipment or a gateway that you did not receive from Wells Fargo, the online or keyed rates and fees may apply to tap, dip, and swipe transactions.
