Donna Fitzmaurice: Liquidity Management requires to be on the ready in uncertain times. My name is Donna Fitzmaurice. I’m joined today with Steve Mastin, VP of finance at TEAM Services. Steve, thanks for joining me today.

Steve Mastin: Thanks for having me.

Back to Donna: When we think about working capital, how do you approach working capital when you think about your day-to-day operational cash vs that is typically defined as strategic and reserved cash?

Back to Steve: That’s a great question. I have two main pools of cash at the bank. The first one is this master collector account that I like to call it. Where’s excess working capital flows into, and it really gives me a very good understanding of what excess working capital I have at any given moment within the bank. The second pool of cash I have is more of a traditional investment account, that traditional investment account and any access working capital I could use for strategic deployment.

Back to Donna: Can you give me a little bit more insight into what that deployment may look like?

Back to Steve: When I think about strategic deployment, I think about inorganic growth and more specifically acquisitions. I don’t have to borrow if I’ve got excess working capital and that helps build a more resilient business.
